Full-time Cook

GPS INVESTMENT GROUP PTY LTD trading as Spanish Grill is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Cook to join our team.

Salary Range – $75,000 - $80,000

Business Location – Mildura VIC 3500

Responsibilities

• Inspect ingredients and food to ensure quality.
• Monitor and control oven, grill, and cooking equipment temperatures.
• Prepare and cook meals according to menu requirements.
• Season dishes appropriately during cooking.
• Portion and plate meals with sauces, gravies, and garnishes.
• Store food in temperature-controlled areas.
• Prepare meals for special dietary requirements.
• Assist with menu planning and estimating food needs when required.
• Support and train junior kitchen staff or apprentices.

Skills and Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Relevant experience or on-the-job training.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
