Full Time Chef

Mildura Brewery & Pub Pty Ltd is looking for a Full-time chef to join our team. Salary Range – $75,000 - $80,000 Business Location – Mildura VIC 3500 Responsibilities Develop and design the menu with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Oversee kitchen operations including inventory, ordering, and cost control. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively. Ensure all food preparation and cooking processes meet the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Develop and implement new recipes and menu items that align with the brewery's brand and customer preferences. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies for the pub's food offerings. Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and labor costs to ensure effective budgeting and planning. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of kitchen operations.
