Full Stack Product Developer (m/f/d)

At Table.Briefings, we develop digital products for a growing media company. Our software helps to make processes more efficient, enable new business models, and free up our editorial teams – so they can focus on what they do best: high-quality journalism!
As the third internal developer, you will take on a central role in our tech team. You will work across the entire development chain: from the initial idea, through conception and implementation, to deployment, operation, and further development.
This isn't just about programming features. You will help us identify the right problems, refine requirements, and develop solutions that truly make a difference for our business, our users, and our editorial teams.

Your Tasks

• You will conceive, develop, and maintain our web applications, APIs, and apps.
• You will work on our Statamic-based platforms and further develop our CMS.
• You will develop new features with our existing tech stack and continuously improve existing solutions.
• You will deal with the use and optimization of Large Language Models and Coding Agents – for automating internal processes and for new product features.
• You will develop and integrate RESTful APIs, for example, for connecting systems like ActiveCampaign.
• You will participate in the configuration, maintenance, and security of our Linux servers and deployment processes.
• You will translate requirements from different areas into clear technical solutions.
• You will bring structure to complex or not yet fully defined tasks and ensure that ideas become implementable products.
• You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, editorial staff, and management.

• Linux servers and modern deployment processes
• Large Language Models and Coding Agents

You don't need to be a complete master of our tech stack yet – what's more important to us is your technical understanding, your communication skills, and your ability to quickly translate complex requirements into good solutions. However, you should be eager to work with our technologies and quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and topics.
We are not looking for someone who has used every tool before, but rather someone who makes good technical decisions, understands interrelationships, and takes responsibility.
Qualifications

• You have sound experience in software development and are proficient in at least one relevant programming language.
• You ideally have experience with web applications, APIs, and databases.
• You are interested in our tech stack and are eager to learn or further develop in Laravel, Statamic, PostgreSQL, and Livewire.
• You understand how to use LLMs and Coding Agents meaningfully and responsibly in software development – or want to learn.
• You are familiar with Linux servers, deployment, and fundamental IT security issues, or are willing to learn about them.
• You can quickly grasp complex problems, prioritize them, and translate them into concrete next steps.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy doing so – even with people who don't work in tech.
• You can bring together different requirements and perspectives and handle stakeholders confidently.
• You work independently, reliably, and solution-oriented.
• You maintain an overview even when requirements change, information is initially incomplete, or multiple topics are on the table simultaneously.
• You enjoy creating calm, structure, and commitment in such situations.
• Very good German language skills are essential for communication within the team and with our stakeholders.
