Full Stack Developer (Senior) (Remote)

We develop Shopify Apps for over 3,500 Shopify merchants. We are looking for a Full Senior Full Stack Developer (m/w/d) with deep technical understanding, sense of clean code and passion for performant, scalable e-commerce solutions.

Tasks

• Planning, architecture, and development of Shopify Apps, plugins, and API integrations
• Full-Stack development with modern technologies in frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express, TypeScript)
• Bonding with third-party systems via REST and GraphQL interfaces
• Ensuring performance, code quality, and scalability
• Implementing responsive and accessible UI components
• Conducting code reviews, testing (Unit, Integration, E2E), and debugging
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as well as technical documentation
• Collaboration with design, product, and QA to shape products from scratch

Qualification

• Experience: At least 5 years of full-stack development.
• Tech-Stack: Familiarity with TypeScript, React (Next.js), and Node.js (Express).
• Infrastructure: Proficiency in databases (SQL/NoSQL) as well as Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Methology: Strong knowledge of API design, security (OAuth), and performance.
• Shopify (Plus): Ideally familiar with Polaris, Webhooks, and GraphQL.
• Soft Skills: You work structured, take responsibility, and speak fluent German (and good English).
