Full Stack Developer (m/w/d)

The BIOCEN TECHNOLOGY GmbH develops digital solutions for the forestry and wood industry. With our Smartforester platform, we support forest owners, forestry companies, and wood processing companies in organizing their work efficiently, transparently, and sustainably.

We are an interdisciplinary team of foresters, developers, and practitioners. Our founders are themselves forest owners and bring their long-standing experience directly into the further development of the platform. This results in practical solutions that create real added value for daily work.

In the course of building our corporate structure, we are looking for a full-time/full-stack developer (m/w/d) at our location in Wismar or Putbus as soon as possible.

Tasks

• As part of our development team, you will continuously develop the Smartforester platform.
• You will work interdisciplinary with other teams to define, design, and implement new functions.
• You will ensure high stability and robustness of the software.
• You will contribute significantly to company development through your innovative ideas and approaches.

Qualification

• You hold a completed (Fach-) university degree in computer science or have comparable extensive professional experience in full-stack development.
• You think object-oriented and can model complex real structures and translate them into logical software objects.
• You have fundamental knowledge of Java (Jakarta EE / WildFly) as well as the Angular framework with TypeScript, and you have a good understanding of ERP systems.
• You know the basic requirements for SQL databases - how to design, query, and maintain them.
• You work independently in a dynamic environment and have a deep understanding of our product while paying attention to clean, understandable code structures.
• You have excellent communication skills and team spirit, which enables you to exchange ideas and collaborate well with all team members.
• You have language skills in German and English at least on the B2 level in both spoken and written form.
• You are eager to learn and have the ambition to improve your skills independently.
