Full Stack Developer (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• Conception, implementation, and further development of the software architecture of our Information Fusion System (IFS)
• Hands-on development across the entire stack (backend in Java/Python, frontend in React/TypeScript, data storage and integration)
• Design and implementation of APIs and backend services as well as their integration into modern frontend applications
• Containerization and operation of applications with Docker as well as integration into our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Working in a Linux-based development environment with modern tools (Git, Jira)
• Contribution to the further development of our system architecture
• Integration and use of modern AI/agent-based approaches in our systems
• Refactoring and continuous improvement of existing components with a focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability
• Close collaboration within the agile Scrum team as well as active participation in technical decisions
• Technical support and mentoring of team members

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification or apprenticeship
• Several years of experience in full-stack software development
• Very good knowledge of Java as well as experience with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript)
• Experience with Python in productive or supportive contexts
• Proficient use of Docker and CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins)
• Experience with Linux-based systems and development environments as well as handling Git and collaborative workflows
• Understanding of modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, modular systems) and relational databases
• Interest in new technologies such as AI/Agentic Systems
• Ability to take on technical responsibility and provide technical support to teams
• Enjoyment of hands-on development and sustainable software quality
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
