fairforce is the LegalTech pioneer based in Leipzig. Since 2017, we have been digitizing legal services for consumers and global brands. Our team is growing – and so is our architecture. To increase our deployment frequency, we are looking for experienced reinforcement with a hands-on mentality, overview, and review competence.

Tasks

• Quality & Gatekeeping
  You will support our Team Lead in code reviews and test automation, ensuring through high standards that tickets can be merged efficiently and safely.

• Data Handling
  Our MariaDB, which has grown over nine years, contains valuable data – you will optimize queries and understand the logic behind complex data structures.

• End-to-End Responsibility
  Following the motto "You build it, you run it," you will accompany features from the initial concept to rollout.

AI & Backend Engineering (Real-World Implementation)

• Prompt Engineering & Output Control
  You will optimize prompts for extraction from unstructured legal documents and ensure, through validation layers (Guardrails), that AI results are reliably fed back into MariaDB.

• Actionable Insights
  You will develop logic that not only extracts information from extracted data but also automatically derives precise answer drafts and process-relevant follow-up tasks (to-dos).

• AI-Driven Development
  You yourself will use state-of-the-art AI tools (e.g., Claude/Anthropic, Copilot) to maximize your development speed and support the team in efficiently integrating these tools into the SDLC.

Qualifications

What you need at fairforce:

• Experience
  At least 5 years of professional full-stack experience. You have already worked in environments where code quality and review processes were crucial.

• Tech Stack
  You master Java / Spring Boot and are equally proficient in React with TypeScript.

• Database Know-How
  You have sound experience with relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL) and know how to work performantly in large table structures.

• Architectural Mindset
  You think in scalable microservices and clean interfaces (REST).

• Language
  You speak German fluently (C1/C2) to navigate the complex legal domain with confidence. Experience has shown how important linguistic understanding is for collaborative development.
