DECATHLON's Data Platform team is looking for its future Full Stack Developers based in Lille/Paris.
At the heart of the Decathlon Digital entity, we are looking for our future Full Stack Developers to join the Data Factory teams.
This technological platform, global to the entire group internationally, supports the development of Data usage at Decathlon, from revenue calculation to assisting with the design of innovative products.
We operate a cutting-edge Modern Data Stack, with a Lakehouse at its core. Our mission? To ensure the scalability, automation, and excellence of development practices for all our communities (Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists).
Your future playground
The Data Factory is organized into expert teams, each led by a Tech Lead & Product Manager duo. Depending on your profile and affinities, you will join one of our collectives:
🎨 UserXP Team (User Experience)
You are the interface between the platform and its users. Your role is to design tools and workflows that simplify the lives of data developers, with a focus on ergonomics and operational efficiency.
📥 Ingestion Team
Your objective: to make data ingestion "seamless". You develop and maintain our internal solutions (DFI - Data Factory Ingestion) to ensure a fluid, standardized, and automated data flow to the datalake.
TECHNICAL STACK
- A full cloud environment (AWS-GCP)
- Kubernetes, with full CI/CD (Flux, Github Action...)
- S3, Redshift, PostgreSQL, GCS, BigQuery
- EMR, Databricks, AWS Athena
- Airflow
- Jira/Confluence, GitHub
- Languages: (at least 2 among): Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Frameworks/Libraries: React, Angular, Vue.js, Spring, Django, Flask, etc.
YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION
You will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining front-end and back-end components of the data platform, with a focus on developer experience and automation.
- Contributing to the implementation of a self-service data platform, by providing tools and services that simplify the development, deployment, and operation of data solutions.
- Developing robust and scalable APIs and services for data access and manipulation.
- Implementing intuitive user interfaces for the platform's tools and services.
- Automating development, testing, and deployment processes (CI/CD) to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
- Collaborating closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Ops teams to understand their needs and respond effectively.
- Participating in technological watch and proposing innovative solutions to improve the data platform.
- Learning and applying best practices for software development, testing, and documentation.
