Job description
The Ideal Candidate
We are building and developing Camelune, a marketplace dedicated to new and pre-owned luxury goods. You will join our engineering team and work on the entire product — from the e-commerce platform for customers and the internal administration platform, to the APIs and data models behind them.
This is a hands-on role where you will take features from idea to production, working across the full stack, from the database schema to the user interface.
What you will work on
● You will develop features for the storefront in Angular, including listings, search, product pages, checkout, seller dashboards, and account flows.
● You will create internal interfaces and tools for our administration platform.
● You will develop API endpoints in NestJS and their corresponding data models.
● You will design and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes.
● You will implement integrations with third-party services, including payments, object storage, push notifications, and AI-assisted content features.
● You will develop real-time messaging and notification features using WebSockets.
● You will write tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the stability of the platform in production.
Our technical stack
You don't need to have experience with all the technologies below. Angular and TypeScript are the main requirements, and experience with NestJS is a significant advantage. The rest can be learned within the team.
● Frontend: Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, Angular i18n (EN/RO), Socket.IO.
● Backend: NestJS, MongoDB/Mongoose, Redis, NodeJS, AWS-S3, Google Cloud.
● Tooling: Nx monorepo, Node.js 22, Playwright, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
Job Description
● Minimum 2 years of professional experience in web application development.
● Solid TypeScript knowledge and hands-on experience with Angular, including components, services, routing, RxJS, and forms.
● Experience in developing REST APIs with Node.js. Experience with NestJS is an advantage, but a solid Node.js foundation is also sufficient.
● Practical knowledge of data modeling. MongoDB experience is an advantage; solid SQL experience is also relevant.
● Experience with Git and pull request-based workflows.
● Ability to take a feature from a general description to implementation, testing, and production launch.
● Professional level English.
● Availability to work from our office in Bucharest.
An advantage would be

● Stripe integrations or other payment systems
● WebSockets / Socket.IO
● Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD
● Angular server-side rendering
● Playwright or Jest
● Interest in e-commerce products or marketplaces
