Job description
THE CONTEXT
For over 50 years, thanks to its innovative products and a culture rooted in accessibility, Decathlon has continuously reinvented the sports market.
Our mission: to sustainably make the pleasures and benefits of sport accessible to the greatest number of people.
Today, we are leveraging this culture of innovation and our digital expertise so that a wider audience can benefit from the pleasures of sport, with the help of technology. We are creating new experiences for athletes – virtual coaching, loyalty programs, intelligent in-store experiences, new and used product offers, as well as rental services for a wide range of Decathlon and partner products. Our goal: to create a digital ecosystem of products and services.
The Digital Unit Sports is at the heart of Decathlon's transformation and innovation because it serves the Decathlon teams responsible for the construction of our global product offering, product design, and commercialization. Did you know that 80% of products sold in stores are designed and developed by Decathlon? A great responsibility!
You will join the PIC (Product Info & Content) Data team, which is composed of Data Scientists, Fullstack Analytics, ML engineers, and Data & AI PMs.
The team's objective is to achieve superior product information and content at scale through AI and analytics. (#Product content at scale)
As a Full Stack Analytics professional, you will manage an analytics project from start to finish, combining expertise in Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Analysis to maximize the value of our product data.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Full Stack Analytics professional within the PIC team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate closely with PMs, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists to identify opportunities for business impact, leverage data to quantify results, and participate in the planning of the team's Analytics strategy and roadmap.
- Model and Industrialize (Analytics Engineering - 60%): Design, develop, and maintain clean, documented, and optimized data pipelines and data models in our data lakehouse.
- Drive Business Intelligence (BI - 30%): Design interactive, impactful, and self-service analytical dashboards and applications to enable business and product teams to autonomously manage their activities.
- Deliver Impact Analyses (Data Analysis - 10%): Explore data to identify business opportunities, define relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and conduct in-depth analyses to guide the strategy for the global product offering.
- Ensure Reliability: Implement data quality tests, monitor data freshness, and document every aspect.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience: You have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a role combining data analysis, BI, and analytics engineering, ideally with large-scale use cases.
- Technical Mastery: SQL holds no secrets for you. You are proficient in data modeling concepts (Kimball, Data Vault, etc.), using dbt, and you have a strong command of Python for data analysis.
- Interpersonal Skills: You are an excellent communicator, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for multidisciplinary stakeholders (business teams, product, governance).
- Languages: You are fluent in English (international context) and can speak French (conversational).
- Culture & Human Aspect: You are particularly sensitive to the impact of sport for the values it transmits in teamwork! You want to join a company with a positive impact (#Tech4Good).
