Frontend Developer (m/w/d)

We are looking to strengthen our development team by April 2026 (start date to be agreed) and are seeking a motivated frontend developer (m/w/d) in full-time – and maybe just you!

The NEOCOSMO GmbH, located at the University of Saarland's Science Park, is a growing team with strong cohesion and a clear mission: to sustainably improve communication, cooperation, and learning within organizations. With our award-winning, cloud-based platform PIIPE, we design digital workplaces for companies and public institutions.

Tasks

• Conception and development of modern frontend components for our intranet platform PIIPE based on Drupal 10 – with Vue.js, React, TypeScript, and PHP
• Responsibility for the further development of existing components and modules under consideration of performance, scalability, maintainability, and security
• Implementation of new, innovative features to functionally and technically extend our platform
• Definition and assurance of code quality standards, testing strategies, and best practices
• Participation in CI/CD processes, release planning, and deployment strategies
• Implementation of complex customer-specific requirements in close coordination with project management and backend team

Qualification

• Degree in computer science, media informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience (ideally 2+ years) in frontend development of modern web applications
• Very good knowledge of at least one modern framework (Vue.js, React, Angular) and fundamental experience with TypeScript
• Very good knowledge of PHP and experience with REST API connections
• Ideal experience with Drupal 10/11
• Safe handling of Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
• Openness and interest in using KI-based tools in the development process
• Very good German or English skills (C1), ideally in both languages
• Independent, structured working style with high quality orientation
• Interest in technical further development and knowledge exchange within the team
