Frontend Engineer (React / TypeScript)

Persohap is an AI platform for recruiting, onboarding, and further training. Application
interviews, learning paths, and feedback cycles run through speaking avatars with us — and everything
that users see of it, you build. You work on a React frontend that
is used daily by HR teams and their employees, in German and in English.

Tasks

You develop new areas of our platform in React and TypeScript, from the first
component to the finished screen
You implement designs pixel-perfectly and build them to work on desktop and mobile
You maintain and expand our design system so that the interface remains consistent across all modules
You connect our backend services via REST APIs and take care of loading states,
error cases, and performance
You ensure that every new interface is fully bilingual (German and English)
You pay attention to accessibility: keyboard operation, contrasts, meaningful ARIA attributes
You work closely with design, backend, and product and contribute your own suggestions

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in frontend development with React
Very good TypeScript knowledge and a good feel for component structure and state
Experience with Tailwind CSS or a comparable utility-first approach
You can read a design and translate it into clean, maintainable code
Experience with connecting REST APIs, including authentication and error handling
You work in a structured way with Git and write comprehensible pull requests
Fluent in written and spoken German and English
Advantageous: Experience with Vite, i18next, web SDKs for video or audio, or with
accessibility according to WCAG
