As Software Tech Lead (m/w/d), you'll be responsible for developing and operating our scalable Energy-as-a-Service platform for innovative energy applications – from architecture to backend and embedded development, up to secure and performant delivery in production.

What we're doing:

SPiNE is developing the software stack for intelligent energy management on the secure Smart Meter infrastructure. Our API-centric platform enables municipalities and energy suppliers to implement new business models like dynamic tariffs, energy management, local optimization, network control, and marketing of flexibility – reliably, scalable, and future-proof.

Tasks

• You'll take responsibility for our frontend and user experience.
• You'll develop central components of our customer-facing product further – from conception to implementation.
• You'll help create technical roadmaps and develop scalable solutions for production operation.
• You'll work closely with our CTO, the development team, and external partners.
• You'll ensure clean interfaces, sustainable code quality, and robust architectural decisions.

Qualification

• Multiple years of experience in developing user-friendly frontend solutions based on JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Deep understanding of modern tech stacks (cloud architecture, API design, data modeling, security).
• Experience with KI tools to support your own development.
• Your UI designs or UX will delight customers through their intuitive use and visually appealing design.
• You're strong in both conception and implementation – from whiteboard to deployment.
• You have experience with ticket systems (JIRA), version management (Git), and CI/CD.
• Nice to have: Experience with IoT, energy management, or the Smart Meter infrastructure.
• You're confident in English and speak German at least at a B2 level.
