Frontend Developer (React/Typescript)
Job description
The WES UI Team, part of the R&D department, is responsible for delivering and maintaining software tools used across all company departments and by customers.
The team focuses primarily on developing and maintaining frontend applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring high-quality, user-friendly, and scalable solutions.
While the main expertise lies in frontend development, some applications also include backend components built with C# and .NET. Two applications involve backend development, while others are primarily frontend-focused and used both internally and by customers.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Tool Development: Designing and developing modern web-based software solutions to support various company functions. The main focus lies on building and maintaining React and TypeScript frontends, ensuring performant, scalable, and user-friendly applications.
Some tools also include backend components built with C# and .NET, handled within the team when necessary.
Examples of developed tools include:
- Warehouse Configurator: Enables the creation and visualization of warehouse layouts enriched with metadata, making them compatible with the traffic controller.
- Handling Unit Configurator: A calculation tool that determines the optimal positions of handling units within the warehouse.
- WES-UI: A key application used both internally and by customers to monitor and interact with warehouse operations. (And many more tools tailored to the company's needs.)
Full Software Lifecycle: Responsible for the software development process from A to Z, including analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and delivering training for end users.
Optimizing and Enhancing: Focus on refactoring, improving code quality and efficiency, and maintaining a highly performant software architecture.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements, ensure the software aligns with business needs, and provide ongoing support to enhance operational efficiency.
