Tasks:

• Development and further development of modern web frontends for our sensor applications
• Hands-on development with modern frontend technologies (e.g., Angular/React/Vue, TypeScript)
• Further development and maintenance of existing desktop applications based on Java (Swing/AWT)
• Integration of frontends with backend services via REST/HTTP APIs
• Refactoring and restructuring of existing applications with a focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability
• Implementation and technical further development of UI/UX concepts in collaboration with the business department
• Optimization of usability, performance, and responsiveness
• Working with modern development processes and tools (Git, Code Reviews, CI/CD)
• Agile software development in a Scrum team with active participation in technical decisions

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification or training
• In-depth experience in frontend development with modern technologies such as Angular, React, or TypeScript
• Good knowledge in the development and maintenance of Java-based desktop applications is an advantage
• Experience in integrating frontends with backend services via REST/HTTP APIs
• Proficient in using modern development tools and processes (Git, Code Reviews, CI/CD)
• A feel for UI/UX, usability, as well as performance and responsiveness optimization
• Structured, self-reliant way of working, as well as teamwork and strong communication skills
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
