Our webshop is the central part of our business model. Therefore, we develop it not over isolated features, but consider the frontend as a whole - from performance and user guidance to product presentation and navigation up to shopping cart and checkout. UX, technology and e-commerce are closely intertwined.

As Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for the most important digital point of contact between our customers and Nordason. You design the frontend of our webshop as a whole and shape how users experience our brand, discover products and are guided through the purchase process. You accompany topics from conception to go-live, bring in your own technical solution approaches and develop the webshop continuously further.

Aufgaben

• Development and further development of modern frontend components for our webshop
• Technical implementation of UX/UI concepts into performant and responsive website surfaces
• Whole development of product pages, landing pages, navigation, shopping cart and checkout
• Development of reusable and maintainable frontend components
• Optimization of loading times, web performance and technical quality
• Testing, debugging and error analysis in ongoing shop operation
• Closely working with e-commerce, UX and external technology partners
• Technical evaluation and acceptance of externally developed frontend solutions
• Bringinging in your own ideas and technical solution approaches to improve customer experience and conversion

Qualifikation

• Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript (Must-have)
• Experience with Git and version control for structured collaboration on codebases
• Practical experience with React.js, Vue.js or a comparable modern frontend framework
• Willingness to learn Odoos component-based frontend framework Owl (existing Owl experience an advantage)
• Experience in developing responsive web applications or e-commerce frontends
• Good understanding of component-based frontend development and modern web architectures
• Experience with TypeScript and e-commerce platforms a plus
• Knowledge of Web Performance, Core Web Vitals or technical SEO a plus
• Independent and solution-oriented work style
• Willingness to actively shape technical decisions and adapt to new systems and technologies
