This role, based in Cape town, involves overseeing the operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing freight forwarding processes for dangerous goods.

Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, enhancing operational efficiencies, ensuring adherence to all regulations related to hazardous materials, and leading a dedicated team. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or Operations Manager in freight forwarding, specifically handling dangerous goods
• Experience with handling dangerous goods is non negotiable
• In-depth knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and compliance standards
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of effectively managing teams
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Certification in dangerous goods handling is highly advantageous
