Freight Controller

As a Freight Controller at Nile Fresh (Pty) Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics of product transportation. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all freight operations are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers Manage relationships with freight carriers and negotiate rates and contracts Track shipments and monitor delivery times to ensure timely arrival at destinations Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and border control procedures Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other departments Key Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances Ability to maintain accurate records and reports Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the organization
