YAMMY is looking for a photographer in Hamburg for YAMMY ORIGINALS.
No studio needed.
No degree needed.
No ten years of professional experience needed.
Actually, we don't really care what's on your resume.
We want to see how you see the world.
The start-up YAMMY is Hamburg's coolest and fairest ordering platform. And because we're
not interested in the same old glossy pictures of perfectly lit
burgers and people with napkins over their arms, we're building our own
visual world.

YAMMY ORIGINALS.
We go through our partner restaurants and photograph what's really happening there.
Pizza flies through the air.
Flour still hangs in the kitchen.
Flames come out of the wok.
Someone is biting into something.
Two people laugh behind the counter.
A plate is already half empty.
No set. No staging. No "Everyone please smile".
We are looking for street photography in and around the restaurant.
Rough. Close up. Spontaneous. A bit 90s. Flash is welcome. Grain is welcome.
Movement is welcome. Mobile phone shot vibe, but with a good camera.

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE
To start, you'll receive a detailed YAMMY Originals briefing with
sample images, mood board, and everything you need to know for the shoots.
We'll give you a route with YAMMY partner restaurants in Hamburg. The
restaurants have been briefed in advance, so you'll know where to go, and will be expected on site.
You'll probably have to wear a YAMMY cap for this. The most important
qualification, therefore: Caps must suit you.
Then it's time:
Go in. Take a quick look. Shoot. Move on.
About 5 to 10 minutes per restaurant. No setting up lights, no rearranging half the kitchen,
no making a big production out of it. Ideally, we can shoot about
20 to 25 restaurants in one day.

AND THE BEST PART
This isn't a one-off job.
YAMMY is growing, and with every new partner restaurant, there are new stories,
new kitchens, and new shooting days.
If it's a good fit between us, we'd like to implement the concept with you long-term.
Further campaigns can also follow.
Student? Perfectly okay.
Freelancer? Perfect.
Don't have a huge portfolio yet? Also okay.
