Aufgaben

We are looking for a freelance Video Producer / Videographer / Editor in Berlin, who or which makes our video output significantly better, faster, and more consistent. This is not a classical videographer role - but a hybrid position combining Producer, Shooter, and Editor with a strong understanding of Performance Marketing and Social Content. You help us in two central areas: 1. Performance Marketing (Ads, Reels, Paid Social) You take strong in-house ideas and turn them into Videos that really perform.

• develop concrete video concepts from ideas
• shoot independently
• edit independently
• build Hooks, Variants, and Cutdowns
• think not just in "beautiful videos", but in Conversion & Watchtime

2. Content Marketing (YouTube / Shortform) You support us in building a scalable video output.

• shoot short Founder-, Product-, or Talking-Head-formats
• edit videos in the 30-90 second range
• help build a simple, repeatable studio setup
• think in Formats instead of Single Projects

Setup

• ca. 1.5 days per week (Retainer)
• regular On-site work in Berlin
• long-term collaboration planned

What we want to build together Our goal is not chaos from individual videos, but a system:

• 2-3 strong Shoot-Days / Concepts per month

• from these:

• Ads

• Hook-Variants

• Reels

• short YouTube-Clips

👉 This means: You must be good at developing many strong assets from a single shoot. Expected Output

• min. 8 Ads / month
• min. 8 Short Videos / month (30-90 sec.)
• plus Variants & Cutdowns

Qualifikation

You fit well if you:

• shoot and edit yourself
• have a strong portfolio in Paid Social, Reels, or YouTube Shortform
• have a good feeling for Hook, Pace, Story, and Platform Logic
• work pragmatically and don't over-engineer
• feel comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment

👉 Important: You understand the difference between "looks good" and "performs well". Notable experience in video production and content creation.

• Ability to develop and implement own creative concepts
• Excellent knowledge of video editing
• Native German speaker with good English skills
• Experience in asset creation in marketing and with performance metrics
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions

Optional as a plus point

Experience with:

• UGC-style Ads (authentic, but polished)

• Founder-led Content

• Testimonials / Product Marketing

• Experience with small in-house studios

• Ability to build recurring content systems

• Experience in front of the camera for video content is an advantage

• Animation skills are an advantage

• Active use of Social Media and understanding of advertising on Instagram and TikTok

• Understanding of the challenges our users face through their own self-employment is a plus point
