Freelance Video Editor (m/f/d)

Hi, we are Vino Digital.

We are the e-commerce agency for winemakers and we help our partner wineries move forward with good shops, clear communication, and effective advertising.

For our video projects, we are looking for consistent freelance support: someone who can confidently edit in DaVinci Resolve Studio, naturally uses AI, and completes assigned tasks promptly.

To start, various existing projects and re-edits with a total effort of approximately 10-20 hours await you. Afterwards, we plan for the long term with about 4-8 hours per month, depending on demand. From November/December 2026, longer videos for TAFKA (our AI consulting division) may be added as the next step.

Tasks

You will take over post-production in our existing DaVinci projects. We will provide you with briefings, raw material, assets, templates, and documented processes.

• Shortform for Vino Digital: Edit vertical ads for our partner wineries, further process existing versions, and implement small re-edits.
• Clean Editing: Combine good hooks, clear pacing, suitable B-roll, titles, natural color correction, and understandable audio.
• Work in a Joint Project: Link media cleanly, edit timelines comprehensibly, and export final versions according to our process.
• Use AI in Daily Work: Meaningfully accelerate recurring work steps and independently suggest better workflows.
• Prospectively Longform for TAFKA: Edit videos of about 5-10 minutes with modern editing, a strong intro in the first ten seconds, animations, and embedded visuals.
• HTML Visuals: Ideally, animate provided HTML content with Claude and embed the results in the videos.

We currently supplement subtitles internally with "Captions." We are open to a DaVinci workflow with convincing design and equal or better quality.

Qualifications

• DaVinci Resolve Studio: You are proficient and work with the software. Owning a Studio license is ideal; if necessary, we can provide one.
• Experience: You have convincing work samples for both short-form ads and longer videos.
• AI-first: You are familiar with practical AI tools and can explain how they make your work faster or better. Experience with DaVinci MCP is a plus.
• Very Good German: You can confidently work with German scripts, on-screen texts, and corrections.
• Independence: You work with concentration and focus. If information or assets are missing, you ask early and report obstacles immediately.
• Reliable Communication: You respond within 24 hours on weekdays. Our communication happens via Google Chat; you need a Google Mail address for this.
• Prompt Execution: With agreed-upon free capacity, you usually deliver the first cut within one to two business days after the agreed start.
• Technical Setup: You have a Blackmagic Cloud account for the joint project library, as well as a computer and internet connection with which you can reliably edit our projects.
