Location: Ahmedabad (on-site availability preferred; remote for specific tasks possible)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Freelance System Engineer from Ahmedabad to support upcoming IT and infrastructure projects. The role involves handling system administration, network management, server deployments, and ensuring smooth IT operations across environments.

• Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux) and networking equipment.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.

• Implement security protocols, firewall rules, and system monitoring tools.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

• Collaborate with internal teams to plan, execute, and optimize IT infrastructure projects.

• Provide documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures.

• Proven experience as a System Engineer / System Administrator (3+ years preferred).

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server & Linux administration.

• Expertise in networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Understanding of backup, DR, and security best practices.

• Ability to work independently and deliver project-based outcomes.
