Freelance Shopify Shopbuilder Webdesigner:in (w/m/d) for Wine Industry

Hi, we are Vino Digital.

We are the E-Commerce Agency for Winemakers and bring our partner wineries with Shopify to the forefront. For our growing number of shop projects, we are looking for reliable freelance support that builds our shops consistently according to a clear standard.

We are changing the wine industry sustainably.

Tasks

You build Shopify shops in frontend, neatly according to our wireframe and theme template. We give you a binding standard and a clear process to follow. You implement it reliably, shop by shop, throughout the year.

• Frontend Construction: Theme, menu, and category structure, product page template, and CRO elements according to detailed briefing
• Working in Standard: build based on a fixed wireframe and theme template, without reinventing each project
• Clean Placeholder Logic: don't hardcode anything, set up all Shopify fields for editing and work with placeholders until release
• Shipping and Checkout Logic: 6er rule, free shipping threshold, and payment terms correctly set up
• Preliminary Handover: document open points and placeholder lists neatly for PM, content, and IT

Qualification

• Experience: 20+ live-built Shopify shops, ideally in the wine, food, or lifestyle sector
• Shopify Depth: you can combine more than themes. Liquid understanding and neatly configurable sections and blocks are part of your daily routine
• Version Control: you work with Git and GitHub, know branches, commits, and pull requests, and keep your theme code versioned cleanly
• CRO View: trust signals, social proof, and the customer journey from a new customer perspective are in your mind
• Performance & Mobile: your result sits on real devices
• Process & Time Discipline: you work within the given framework, keep time constraints and build consistently towards done criteria
• Scope Awareness: you recognize yourself when requirements lie outside the fixed price range and report early
• AI Affinity: you work safely with Claude

• The last problem you solved with Claude (Code), briefly described: task, approach, result
• A rough estimate: how many hours would you need for a standard shop based on a fixed wireframe, all content will be delivered fix (example: drloosen.de, not multilingual)?
• Your standard hourly rate
• Optional: Link to your GitHub, so we can see your workflow and clean versioning

2. Getting to Know Each Other (30 Min): brief online conversation for mutual introduction

3. Test Project: a standard shop based on our wireframe, including estimated hours beforehand. We compare the estimate and actual and deliberately introduce a special request to see how you handle change requests

4. Framework Agreement: if it fits both ways, we conclude a framework agreement with clear rules and confidentiality
