Freelance Senior Art Director (Ad-Hoc)
Job description
The Senior Art Director develops original concepts and design solutions across a wide range of assignments, partnering closely with copy, strategy, and client service teams. This role contributes strong visual thinking, ensures work aligns with client objectives, and supports junior creatives through guidance and collaboration. The Senior Art Director also applies a solid understanding of production processes and internal workflows to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative within deadlines.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop concepts and visual approaches that align with client strategy and creative goals
- Collaborate with copy and cross-functional partners to translate insights into compelling design
- Direct designers, photographers, illustrators, and production resources as needed
- Present creative work clearly and effectively to internal teams and clients
- Support junior creatives through feedback, coaching, and oversight
