Job Title: Freelance Installation Coordinator - Rail and M&E (Technical Installations)
Location: Rotterdam

Job Overview:

You are the crucial link between design and execution for M&E installations (Mechanical and Electrical installations) within a large rail infrastructure project. Your focus lies on preparing all technical, logistical, and planning aspects for the safe and efficient realization of critical systems that provide energy to the new yard.

Main Tasks:

• Prepare execution plans, work descriptions, and coordinate all preparatory activities.

• Manage technical preparation for the realization of:

  • Two technical buildings (including low voltage, telecom).

  • A 25kV high-voltage station (including low voltage, SCADA).

  • A new telecom network.

• Coordinate material procurement, planning, and subcontractors.

• Ensure that all work activities are prepared in accordance with safety and technical standards.

Ideal Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience as an Installation Coordinator for rail infrastructure projects.

• Essential: Proven practical experience with M&E systems (High/Low Voltage electrical engineering, SCADA, telecom).

• Experience working according to ProRail standards is a strong plus.

• Dutch language proficiency is required.
