Freelance Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) - DevOps | Platform | Security

For current and future client projects, we are looking for experienced freelance Cloud Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers, DevOps/Platform Engineers, and Security Specialists (m/f/d) from various technological fields.

We are particularly looking for expertise in the following areas:

• Cloud Engineering – AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
• DevOps & Platform Engineering – Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, GitOps
• Infrastructure Engineering – Linux, Windows Server, Virtualization, Networking & Automation
• Cybersecurity / Cloud Security / DevSecOps – IAM, Application & Infrastructure Security
• Cloud / Solution Architecture – Cloud-Native, Distributed Systems & Infrastructure Architecture

Responsibilities

Possible Project Assignments:

Our client projects range from cloud migrations and the setup of modern cloud and infrastructure platforms to DevOps and Platform Engineering, as well as automation, security, and cloud architecture projects.

We are looking for both specialized Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform, and Security Engineers, as well as Cloud Architects, Solution Architects, and experienced technical consultants.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Several years of practical experience in at least one relevant Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform, or Security area
• Experience from professional Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform, or Security projects
• In-depth expertise in at least one of the areas Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps/Platform Engineering, Cloud Security/DevSecOps, or Cloud/Solution Architecture
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Availability for freelance projects in Germany or the DACH region

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, GitOps, or comparable DevOps/Platform technologies
• Experience with Linux, Windows Server, Virtualization, Networking, or Infrastructure Automation
• Experience with IAM, Cloud Security, Application Security, Infrastructure Security, or DevSecOps
• Experience with Cloud-Native architectures, distributed systems, or Infrastructure Architecture
• Experience as a Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, Tech Lead, or technical consultant

Required Language Skills:

• German – very good to fluent (C1 or higher)
• English – good to very good (B2 or higher)
