Fraude Analist

Fraud often appears in the news. It exists in many forms and is becoming increasingly sophisticated. Maybe you've had experience with it, know someone who has been a victim, or want to help prevent fraud.

Now you can make a difference. You can work as a fraud specialist for one of the three largest banks in the Netherlands. You will work from Leeuwarden, partly at home and partly on site.

As a Fraud Analyst, you are responsible for fully handling questions and reports, from initial contact to solution. You offer personal service, investigate signals of fraud, and quickly and carefully address these to prevent further damage.

You work closely with your colleagues, provide support where needed, and contribute to improving processes and working methods. If you see opportunities for improvement, you will work them out and align with other teams.

The start date is in February. In the first few weeks, you will be fully integrated, assigned a buddy, and learn all processes, so that you can then work independently.

Your tasks

• You are the first point of contact for customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• You assess reports of fraud and compensate customers if necessary.
• You recognize new methods of fraud and take immediate action.
• You check unusual payments and contact customers if necessary.
• You share information with institutions when the bank requests it.
• You help customers with questions and problems regarding credit and payment card transactions.
• You handle complaints and grievances from customers.

The ideal candidate

• Available as of 2 February
• HBO work and thinking level
• Diploma WFT basic (if you don't have this, be willing to obtain it)
• Mastery of Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
• Prior experience with telephone customer contact is a plus
• Able to function optimally in an Agile environment
• Available from Monday to Sunday between 7:00 - 00:00 hours
• Willing to be present on site at the office in Leeuwarden for the first 12 weeks. After your training, we will work approximately 2 days a week on site in Leeuwarden.
