Mapletics is a young, dynamic startup with a big vision: We create new opportunities to discover sports in Cologne and connect people! Our app was recently launched and connects people with sport partners, sports facilities, and exciting sports events. Through an interactive map, you can find where to do sports – and meet new people at the same time. A brief insight can be found on our website.

• Payout & Framework Conditions: As we are in the early startup phase, the internship is currently unpaid but as a Founding Engineer, you will be involved after the get-to-know period at the company.

• Implementation and optimization of our app

🗄️ Backend

• Setup and maintenance of our backend architecture
• Development and connection of APIs

💻 Web Development

• Development and further development of our website

📊 Data Engineering

• Data processing, structuring, and analysis
• Setup of data pipelines and internal tools

⚙️ Product & Tech

• Implementation of new features from idea to launch
• Ensuring performance, stability, and scalability

Qualifikation

• You are studying in the field of software.
• You show initiative, openness, and team spirit
• You have fun with startups, want to take responsibility, and bring in creative ideas
• You work well in a team, are communicative, and reliable
• You get excited about sports (or you want to be infected 🚀)
• You have an independent working style and are open to AI
