Job description

About snipKI

snipKI brings AI to the German Mittelstand and large corporations: with AI strategy and roadmaps for C-level executives, enablement programs like the AI Driving License and the AI Leadership Program, as well as the implementation of initial agent systems. Over 100 programs and around 3,500 empowered individuals, in both the Mittelstand and large corporations.

So far, we have primarily sold through our founders, recommendations, and inbound leads. This works, but it doesn't scale. That's why we are looking for the first person to be solely responsible for sales at snipKI and to build the Go-to-Market strategy with us.

Your Role

As Founding GTM Lead, you will be responsible for snipKI's new customer acquisition from end to end: from the initial conversation, needs analysis, and offer, to the final signature. Simultaneously, you will build the sales system that a team will later operate on. You will report directly to Moritz Heininger (Co-Founder and Managing Director).

Your Responsibilities

  • Close New Business: You will conduct discovery calls with management, department heads, and HR, create proposals within the agreed price framework, and bring deals to a close.
  • Consultative Selling: You will understand a company's current AI standing and combine it to create the appropriate package of AI roadmaps, AI Leadership Programs, AI Driving Licenses, workshops, learning platforms, and implementation.
  • Build the Sales System: Develop a playbook, discovery guide, proposal logic, pipeline stages in HubSpot, and a reliable weekly forecast.
  • Build Pipeline: Qualify inbound and partner leads, leverage your own network and outbound efforts, in collaboration with our GTM Engineering team, which will provide lists, enrichment, and sequences.
  • Expand Customer Relationships: After the initial program, you will plan the next steps with your clients, such as involving additional teams, executives, or developing a roadmap, in conjunction with our trainers and consultants.
  • Build a Team: As sales grow, you may have management responsibility for a sales team, expected no earlier than 12 months from now.

What is not your responsibility

So that you can concentrate on selling, others will handle: the execution of programs (trainers and education team), operational customer support (operations), CRM maintenance, research and sequence building (GTM Engineering), as well as marketing, brand, and PR.

What You Bring

  • Several years of B2B sales experience for complex services, ideally consulting, further education, or SaaS, with demonstrable deals in the five- to six-figure range.
  • Experience with buying centers in the Mittelstand and large corporations: management, department heads, HR, procurement.
  • Genuine interest in AI. You use AI tools yourself and can speak with clients at eye level about their situation.
  • Eagerness to build: You want to create processes, not just execute them, and enjoy working without pre-established structures.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) and a passion for accurate data.
  • Fluent German, good English.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to clients and to the team in Berlin.

What We Offer

  • Compensation: Attractive fixed salary plus uncapped commission on your new customers' revenue. Simple model, no KPI matrix, monthly settlement upon receipt of payment. OTE in the first year around €140,000.
  • Equity: Opportunity to participate in snipKI's success through our employee stock option program.
  • Creative Freedom: You are the first sales hire and will build sales alongside the founders, with direct access and short communication lines.
  • A Product in Demand: Inbound leads, reference customers, and a strong brand in the DACH region; you are not starting from scratch.
  • Work Style: Berlin or remote within Germany, office and client appointments as needed, 2 to 4 team events per year domestically and abroad, 30 days of vacation.
  • Equipment from Day 1: MacBook, HubSpot, Clay, Lemlist, call recording, and access to all previous sales calls. Plus structured onboarding to quickly get you up to speed on products, clients, and pitches.
  • First-hand AI Enablement: You will work with the exact tools and methods we teach our clients.
  • Company Fitness: for all full-time employees.

The Application Process

No cover letter required. Instead, send us three short videos, one for each question, each a maximum of 5 minutes. Recording with your phone is perfectly fine; we are interested in you, not film production:

  • Which deal you closed are you most proud of, and why?
  • How would you approach your first 90 days at snipKI?
  • What do you use AI for yourself today?

This will be followed by an initial get-to-know-you meeting with Lina, a case study, and finally, a conversation with Jens and other team members. This way, you will get to know as many of us as possible and gain a real insight into how we work. Start date: ideally in January 2027.
