Job description

We are Sustainable Med, a young private practice for orthopedic treatment, diagnostics, and prevention in Berlin. Our doctor, Jan, treats patients with musculoskeletal pain as well as Bundesliga professionals. We support people for months, measure progress, and stay on track until the goal is achieved.

We are at the very beginning. The practice is currently expanding to two locations, the team is growing, and our brand is being created during these months. There is currently very little from us on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This is exactly where you come in: You are the first person on the team to fully concentrate on content and growth and bring our channels from 0 to 1.

Why this position is special

  • You build from 0 to 1. Editorial plan, formats, look, and tonality are created with you. What you build in the first months will be the foundation of our brand.

  • You take on a lot of responsibility. You drive content, channels, community, events, and partnerships forward with us, from the idea to reporting. You report to Jakob, set goals and priorities with them, and receive regular feedback.

  • You work closely with all three founders. Each brings a different profile: Jan as a doctor working with professional athletes, Jakob from product and marketing, Kristof from consulting and building healthcare facilities. You will learn medicine, brand building, and company building firsthand.

  • You are in the thick of it. You are regularly on-site at our practices, experience treatment, diagnostics, and training up close, and make the people behind them visible.

  • You grow with us. If it works, there is the possibility of a position after graduation in a rapidly growing organization.

Tasks

  • End-to-end content: You develop ideas, write scripts and hooks, plan shoots, film, record audio, edit, and publish. Typical formats: mobility exercises with Jan, nutrition tips, myths surrounding back, knee, and shoulder, insights into diagnostics and training.

  • Channel management: You are responsible for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, maintain the editorial plan, and keep a consistent posting rhythm.

  • On-site productions: You plan and coordinate content days with Jan and the team at our two locations.

  • Community: You answer comments and messages and forward inquiries to the practice team.

  • Analysis: You measure what works, derive new ideas, and report to the founders every week.

  • Network & Events: You build contacts with gyms, studios, sports clubs, and companies and organize your own events and workshops.

Your first 90 days

  1. Month 1 – Settling in: You get to know the practice, the team, and the patients, analyze our channels and the competition, and build a content plan for the first four weeks. First content day with Jan.

  2. Month 2 – Rhythm: Going live regularly. You test formats, find the two strongest, and expand them. Our YouTube channel launches.

  3. Month 3 – Out into the network: You talk to gyms, studios, and companies about collaborations and organize our first own event. At the end, you show us what worked and where you want to go next.

Qualifications

  • You are enrolled, e.g., in Sports Science, Health, Communication, Media, or Business Administration.

  • You have initial experience with content creation or video production and think in terms of hooks and formats.

  • You are proficient with cameras or smartphones, lighting, sound, and editing software (CapCut, Premiere, or similar).

  • You enjoy being in front of and behind the camera.

  • You are genuinely interested in health, sports, and nutrition.

  • You speak fluent German and good English and enjoy approaching people.

  • You work in a structured manner and drive projects forward independently.

  • Bonus: your own channel with reach or a portfolio of short videos.

Benefits

  • A brand that bears your signature: Every video, every post, and every event you create is immediately visible.

  • Direct line to all three founders and regular 1:1s with Jakob and Kristof.

  • First-hand knowledge of sports medicine, training, and nutrition, as well as brand building and growth in a young company.

  • Budget for equipment and tools such as gimbals, microphones, lighting, and editing software.

  • €17–€18/hour, flexible hours to fit your semester schedule, more hours possible during semester breaks.

  • Access to Urban Sports Club and our own services (diagnostics).

  • Short distances: An idea from Monday can be live by Wednesday.

  • Prospect of a full-time role as Growth Manager after graduation.

Where you will work

  • Eterno Health, Berlin-Mitte: Schicklerstraße 5, 10179 Berlin (near Jannowitzbrücke)

  • Medical Park am Spreebogen, Moabit: Alt-Moabit 101 B, 10559 Berlin

For shoots, content days, and events, you will regularly be at both locations. Planning, editing, and reporting can also be done flexibly remotely.

How to apply

Apply directly here via JOIN with a few sentences about yourself, your resume, and links to 2–3 videos you have made. We do not need a cover letter. Bonus: an idea for a video with Jan that you would shoot first.
