Founding Engineer

We are a startup in the decisive phase of market entry. With our platform Maxmove, we are developing an innovative solution for logistics on the last mile.

Now we are looking for a Founding Engineer who will strengthen our team and actively participate in the build-up and growth of the company.

Aufgaben

• Core Product Development: Backend-Services, APIs, and Architecture for our logistics platform design, develop, and implement
• Infrastructure responsible: Databases, Cloud Deployments, Monitoring, and CI/CD
• Technical Roadmap, Product Direction, and Architectural Decisions actively participate in
• Features quickly prototype and validate (KI-based Matching, Route Optimization, Demand Prediction)
• Hire the first Engineers and mentor them when the team grows
• Establish Engineering Culture, Best Practices, and Documentation from scratch

Qualifikation

• Strong Engineering Background with 2+ years hands-on Software Development (Startup or 0→1 experience a big plus)
• No formal work experience necessary — own projects, Open-Source Contributions, or strong portfolio count just as much
• Experience in Backend Development (Go, Node.js/TypeScript) and solid understanding of APIs, Databases, and Distributed Systems
• Full-Stack Mindset — ready to work across Backend, Frontend (React/Expo RN), and Data Pipelines
• Experience with KI-based Development (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) a big plus
• Ownership Mentality — you take responsibility, move quickly, and pull through
• Problem Solver who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and finds independent solutions
