Über junini

junini builds the software infrastructure for a new business model in the optics industry. We work closely with opticians and develop a platform that fundamentally changes a previously little digitalized market. We are just before completing a Pre-Seed round. The POC has successfully proven itself, and the launch of first pilot cooperations with opticians is imminent.

Now we're looking for a Founding Engineer (m/w/d). Together with the CTO, you'll prepare the platform for productive use at our first customers. Besides genuine design freedom and a competitive salary, there's also the possibility that you receive shares in junini.

Aufgaben

What you do

You take on responsibility with us and participate in key technical decision-making. Specifically:

• Production-Readiness: The platform is ready. Together with our CTO, you'll bring it from POC to actual production readiness.
• Product Responsibility: You're responsible for the further development of entire areas of the platform.
• Architecture and Stack: You have significant influence on our technical orientation.
• Customer-Driven Development: You work closely with our first customers to continuously improve the platform.
• Ai-first Engineering Culture: As the first team member in the engineering team, you establish our AI-first development culture.

Qualifikation

What you bring

You've already demonstrated implementation strength and a high quality standard, and thrive in the dynamic environment of a newly founded company. Specifically, we're looking for:

• At least 5 years of backend experience, secure in Java/Kotlin and the Spring-Boot ecosystem.
• Cloud Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Integrations: You're familiar with Auth, Payments, and ERP connections.
• Frontend/React Experience: You have a basic understanding of frontend and React applications.
• Pramatism and Ownership: You come without much process and make decisions easily.
• Experience in an Early-Stage Startup is a plus**.
• Fluent German: Our first customers are in Germany. You're able to communicate with them confidently.
