Founding Engineer - AI Startups (pre-seed & seed)

Across our portfolio, founders are building foundational AI models, innovative applications of AI, and infrastructure to support the AI revolution. What You’ll Do: * Work directly with founders to build their AI-powered product from the ground up. * Be a key technical decision maker, shaping the engineering culture and technical direction of the company. * Write high-quality, maintainable code, and build robust, scalable systems. * Be a generalist, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. * Help recruit and mentor future engineers. * Collaborate with product and design to create a product that users love. What We’re Looking For: * Strong technical background with experience in software engineering and AI. * Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment. * Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and/or natural language processing. * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Passion for AI and its potential to change the world. Bonus Points: * Experience building and deploying AI models in production. * Experience with specific AI frameworks or libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Contributions to open-source projects. * Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
