As Founding AI Engineer, you will be responsible for a visionary product at the intersection of KI, UX, and Knowledge Management. You will design, implement, and improve a KI-based system that automatically interviews experts, captures their implicit knowledge, and makes this knowledge usable across various formats and interfaces within the company.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and pilot customers to understand real needs, test hypotheses, and bring early functioning prototypes to market. This role is not just a job - it's an opportunity to shape a product with great impact from scratch.

How you can make an impact

• Konzipiere und implementiere den KI-Interviewprozess, der mithilfe von AI Voice Agents dynamisch sinnvolle Fragen stellt und tiefes Fachwissen erfasst.
• Baue und orchestriere eine Transcript-to-Knowledge-Pipeline, die in Interviews erfasstes Expertenwissen strukturiert, aufbereitet, nachhaltig speichert und bereitstellt.
• Entwerfe und implementiere KI-Agenten, um das erfasste Wissen über unterschiedliche Formate und Schnittstellen im Unternehmen verfügbar zu machen.
• Führe Nutzerinterviews mit Fachexperten und Wissensmanagern, um Bedürfnisse zu validieren und das System kontinuierlich zu verbessern.
• Übernimm die Verantwortung für das End-to-End-Produkt – von KI-Agenten über Datenpipelines bis hin zu einem intuitiven Frontend.
• Arbeite eng mit dem Produkt- und Entwicklungsteam an Zielen, Experimenten und Vision. Du bist gleichzeitig hands-on Entwickler und produktgetriebener Denker.

Skills to be successful

• Tiefes technisches Verständnis: You can independently and end-to-end design, implement, and scale complex KI- and software solutions. (Tech Stack: Next.js, LiveKit, LangGraph/LangChain, Azure, OpenAI, TypeScript, Python)
• Konzeptionelle Stärke: You can design technical solution approaches for challenging problems, evaluate them, and translate them into feasible architectures.
• Produktdenken: You think not only in code lines but also in user needs and added value.
• Ownership & Hands-on-Mentalität: You work independently and proactively, take responsibility, and communicate clearly.
• User Empathy: You have already experience with user interviews and bring genuine interest in how people think and work.
• Bonus: Experience with Knowledge Graph, Knowledge Management or Knowledge Engineering.
