Founding AI Engineer

We build an AI-native operating system for knowledge transfer in companies. Every day, companies lose millions of dollars because critical knowledge is hidden in documents, meetings, PDFs, processes, or in the minds of individual employees. We solve this with a proprietary AI language that transforms unstructured knowledge into animated explainer videos – with 7x higher Knowledge Retention.

We are an 8-member high-performance team with over 500k € ARR and strong growth. Our Pre-Seed round has been successfully completed – backed by exited Unicorn angels (including Stefan Glänzer), Top-Tier VCs, and EWOR (0.1% Acceptance Rate). Our customers include Europe's largest bank and leading insurers.

As a Founding AI Engineer, you will build with us a new category in Enterprise Knowledge Transfer. This is not a classical engineering role – it's a company-building role.

Tasks

AI & Core Engineering

• Responsibility for the entire tech stack – from AI language to rendering pipeline
• Design & Implementation of our proprietary AI language, which transforms knowledge into animated videos
• Development of scalable, production-ready ML and backend systems
• End-to-End ownership over architecture, models, and infrastructure

Iteration & Scaling

• Further development of the technical roadmap and unlocking new product capabilities
• Fast iteration from prototype to production – robust, repeatable engineering processes
• Tight collaboration with Product, Design, and founders

Company Building

• Participation in strategic company decisions and building the engineering organization
• Setting technical standards, tooling, and a culture of engineering excellence
• Buiding a high-performance engineering team

Qualification

Multiple years of experience as a software or ML engineer, ideally in an AI or B2B SaaS product (startup or scaleup advantageous)Notable achievements in building and scaling production-ready systemsDeep knowledge in Python, modern ML stack (LLMs, Generative AI), and cloud infrastructureHands-on mentality – you build yourself and deliver quicklyHigh self-discipline, strong sense of responsibility, and genuine drive to prove yourselfVery good English; German a plus
