The Sustainability team at Code Gaia is responsible for ensuring that the work we do precisely meets the needs of our partners and users. The team consists of experienced and aspiring sustainability experts, all of whom have a desire to improve the way we do business, which by default means working better for the planet and its inhabitants. Working with us, you will be involved in a wide range of topics, while also acquiring crucial expertise in the most important methods and approaches of corporate sustainability. Our team is involved in the continuous development of our software, delivers results for our customers, monitors and maintains high methodological standards, provides strategic support and consulting, topic-specific services such as GHG continuations and support for the EU taxonomy, sustainability reports and much more.
WHAT YOU DO
Your Role:
As Founders Associate, you will be the central support for our Founder's Office, working closely with our Head of Operations and helping to shape and implement important corporate initiatives. You will work on a variety of projects that drive Code Gaia's growth and gain comprehensive insights into all aspects of corporate management and strategy development. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive startup experience in a dynamic environment.
Your tasks include:
- Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Founders Office team, especially our Head of Operations, on the development and implementation of corporate strategies and growth initiatives.
- Project Management: Support in managing projects across various business areas to ensure that goals are achieved and deadlines are met.
- Analysis & Reporting: Conduct market and competitor analyses, as well as prepare reports and presentations to support decision-making.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing processes to increase efficiency and ensure quality.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, as well as represent the Head of Operations in meetings.
- Ad-hoc Support: Support the Head of Operations with ad-hoc requests and daily operational tasks.
WHO YOU ARE
- Education: A degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Sustainability, or a comparable field.
- Analytical Skills: You have a strong ability to quickly grasp complex issues and analyze them based on data.
- Project Management Experience: Initial experience in project management, ideally in a dynamic or fast-growing environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: Very good oral and written communication skills in German and English to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Hands-on Mentality: High initiative, flexibility, and the willingness to take responsibility in a rapidly changing environment.
- Entrepreneurial Thinking: A strong interest in startups, business models, and sustainable growth.
