Founders Associate (Mandatory Internship) (m/f/d)

Project Bay is the first CoWorking-Living Space with direct sea access and a new hotspot for innovation in the North. The themes of 'Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, and new mobility solutions' are combined here with a regional community, work-life balance, and pure nature.

We offer our customers office and co-working spaces, break-out options, as well as further training, leisure activities, and overnight stays directly by the sea on Rügen. Furthermore, we have an accelerator 'Founders Bay' to support young startups with a focus on sustainability.

From now on, we are also building the first MakerSpace on the island of Rügen. In addition to digital solutions, it is necessary to create a place for hardware solutions. With the synergies of our new accelerator for sustainable startups and collaborations with universities, chambers of commerce, etc., we want to create a place for crafts, self-employed individuals, creatives, and startups with the MakerSpace.

In addition to these topics, we are busy with new projects in the areas of: Expansion with new spaces, IT solutions, car sharing, tiny houses, and much more.

Responsibilities

• You will support the development and growth of new business areas and independently pursue the achievement of goals.
• You will support management in all organizational and administrative tasks.
• You will support the management in all subsidiary companies/new projects (IT company, car sharing, tiny houses, new spaces).
• You will create decision proposals as well as presentations and graphics, including analyses.
• You will act as a communication interface between management and external business partners as well as employees in German and English.
• You will be responsible for the preparation and follow-up of meetings and conference calls, including minute-taking.
• You will take over appointment coordination and control, especially the prioritization of management's agenda.
• You will organize international and national travel activities and prepare expense reports.

Qualifications

• You are studying Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or similar.
• You have very good German and confident English skills.
• You are characterized by a reliable and, above all, independent way of working.
• You are eager for high-paced work, passionate about making things happen, and work in a structured and conscientious manner.
• You have 40 hours per week available for the internship.
• It is an advantage if you already have some experience in startups, agencies, or consultancies.
