Founders Associate

We are building the first athlete-centered Operating System, accompanying professionals from youth to career end — with full focus on lifting their full potential.

Behind OWNRSP stands an experienced founding team of professional sports, serial entrepreneurship, and B2B scaling — and we are looking for a Founders Associate who will join us on this path.

Aufgaben

Strategie & Business Development
• Support in preparing and conducting investor meetings and fundraising activities
• Creation and maintenance of pitch decks, financial models, and investor updates
• Research and analysis of market, competition, and industry trends in the SportsTech area
• Identification and evaluation of strategic partnerships (clubs, agencies, rehabilitation centers, wearable providers)
Operations & Finance
• Building and optimizing internal processes, tools, and workflows in the early phase
• Support in financial management: budget planning, reporting, KPI tracking
• Coordination with external service providers (legal, compliance, accounting)
• Preparation of decision-making documents for the management team

Go-to-Market & Growth
• Support in onboarding new athletes and stakeholders
• Collaboration on content strategy and communication measures
• Building and maintaining CRM processes and pipeline management
• Analysis and optimization of GTM key figures and conversion rates
Project Management
• Independent leadership of cross-functional projects
• Close cooperation with the product and tech team to prioritize features
• Preparation and follow-up of team meetings and strategic workshops

Qualifikation

Must-haves
• Passion for sports, particularly professional sports and the sports industry
• Well-developed analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Structured personality with a healthy pragmatism
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
• High self-initiative, hands-on mentality, and willingness to get involved in an early-stage startup
• Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and common project management tools

Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge of data analysis, BI tools, or basic technical affinity
• Network in the sports ecosystem (athletes, agents, clubs, coaches)
• Experience with fundraising, financial modeling, or investor relations
• Experience in SaaS, platform business models, or B2C products
• Completed studies in BWL, finance, sport management, computer science, or comparable
• First relevant work experience (1-3 years) in a startup, consulting, VC, investment banking, or similar environment
