About the Role

We are internally on the path to becoming an AI-native organization. Our company knowledge resides in a Git repository from which AI draws and works, and which updates itself through feedback loops. Inbound requests, pod reports, support triage, and call recaps are handled by agents and automations that we have built ourselves. More than 20 of them are in production.

In this role, you will be responsible for TradeLink's backbone: the systems and processes in Operations, People, Finance, and GTM that all teams rely on every day. You will drive AI projects across the entire company, making our processes leaner, faster, and more efficient. You will gain insight into all areas of the company, from sales and product to customers, as well as People and Finance.

You will work directly with our CEO and Founder Tobias and with Daniel, our Chief of Staff and AI Enablement Manager, making the company better every week. For you, this role is a stepping stone: from here, you can develop into any area of the company that suits you.

Your Areas of Responsibility

• Rebuild People & Finance Operations AI-first: You will take over our People and Finance processes, streamline them, and automate them step by step. The goal: processes run on time, have a verification step, and find errors before they reach the recipient.

• Keep Operations Lean and Cost-Effective: You will keep an eye on where we spend money and time, ensuring we remain efficient. To do this, you will continuously review tools, contracts, and processes, identify duplication of work and media breaks, and manage terminations, renegotiations, implementations, and simplifications.

• Hand Over Work to Agents: You will operate ongoing automations (Make, Claude, HubSpot, GitLab) and build new ones for recurring work in sales, support, reporting, People, and Finance. Before each project, you will define how we measure success, such as hours saved, fewer errors, or generated pipeline.

• GTM Systems and Customer Enablement: You will drive outbound campaigns for our target accounts and customers, ensuring the path from inquiry to the first conversation remains fast. You will build the reporting with which our teams manage their accounts. Additionally, you will work on AI-native self-onboarding: from your analyses, we derive builds that reduce customer inquiries and thus tickets.

• Further Develop the Company Brain: You will ensure that our company knowledge (positioning, personas, plays, account maps) is up-to-date and utilized. You will show teams how to work with it, measure whether they do, and improve it if they don't.

After 90 Days

• our standard processes in People, Finance, and GTM run noticeably smoother, leaner, and with more automation than today,

• you know the company in its full breadth and understand how the departments are interconnected,

• you can identify bottlenecks, critically review processes and results, and support the management team so they can focus on important decisions,

• at least one team uses a solution you have built, saving them time every week.

After 12 to 18 months, you will be responsible for an area independently. Where you go will be decided together: GTM Engineering, Operations, AI Transformation Consultant for clients, Product Builder, or the path towards Chief of Staff.

What You Bring

• You have built something with AI or automations that others use, and you can show it. The tool doesn't matter: Make, n8n, Claude Code, a Custom GPT with its own context, a Python script.

• First experience in a startup, scale-up, consulting firm, or VC. Internships, working student positions, or your own founding count.

• You review AI output before passing it on, and can explain where your tools fail.

• You write clearly: short memos and instructions that someone can work with without you.

• You are confident with numbers and notice when a sum cannot be correct.

• You handle confidential information with care.

• You speak German at a native level and good English.

• You learn something new about AI every week and know exactly what you last taught yourself

Bonus points: Experience in Recruiting, People Operations, Billing or Finance Operations, an outbound campaign you have run yourself, Git and Markdown, some Python or SQL, HubSpot.

The position is not a fit if

• you are looking for an assistant role with calendar and travel planning,

• you work with ChatGPT but haven't built anything that someone else uses yet,

• you only start when a complete brief is available,

• you want to make strategy and leave the implementation to others.
