We are looking for an experienced developer to join our team at Sunpeak Capital. With over 74% of CO2 emissions in Germany resulting from energy production, we believe that investing in renewable energies is crucial to achieving European climate goals.

Sunpeak Capital makes the development of renewable energies investable and transforms photovoltaic, battery storage, and charging infrastructure into profitable, optimized investments. Aufgaben

• Strategic Partnership at Eye Level: You work directly with the founders, take over independently area-spanning key projects, and bring your own perspectives into operational and strategic decisions - as an extended arm of the management team.
• Venture Building & New Business Models: You develop new venture ideas and business models from scratch - from the first idea to validation and go-to-market strategy. You think entrepreneurially, recognize market opportunities early on, and drive new business ideas hands-on into implementation.
• AI & Process Automation: You identify optimization potential and automate operational workflows hands-on with KI tools and automation platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Structures & Performance Systems: You build scalable decision-making processes, reporting systems, and goal systems (e.g., OKRs) and ensure transparency over performance and implementation status.
• Analyse & Decision-Making Foundations: You bring clarity to complex topics through clean analyses and structured decision-making templates - from finance topics over organizational design to fundraising preparation.
• Operative Ownership & Implementation Control: You take responsibility for implementing central projects, track progress and performance, and ensure that defined processes are lived by the team.

Qualification

• Top Education & Relevant Experience: Completed studies at a renowned university with strong grades - supplemented by 2-3 years of experience in a demanding environment like a fast-growing startup, VC, investment banking, or consulting.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset & Ownership: You think in solutions, take responsibility without waiting for perfect structures, and drive topics independently until implementation - even if it gets uncomfortable.
• Structural Strength & Execution Quality: You can penetrate complex topics, clarify them, and parallelly manage multiple projects - without anything falling through the cracks. You set high standards for your own work.
• Ai-Native Working Method: You actively use KI tools to boost your output - and continuously develop this skill because you follow the curve.
• Learning Speed & Industry Expertise: You're not a PV expert on day one - but in 60 days, you'll know more than most in the industry. You research deeper, think faster, and acquire expertise in renewable energies, photovoltaics, battery storage, and energy markets with genuine curiosity.
• Berlin Presence & Team Fit: You primarily work on-site at the Berlin office - close to the founders, deal flow, and team. Remote is the exception, not the standard.
