The company gives bad quality the boot. From a Swabian family business in toolmaking, a growing e-commerce brand for sustainable, high-quality products "Made in Germany" has emerged. Over 250,000 baskets sold later, the company is on a clear growth trajectory – with new product lines and new sales channels. To ensure the next steps are successful on a solid financial basis, the company is looking for reinforcement.

Your Role

You bridge two worlds: a good feel for the e-commerce business – assortment, marketplaces, new product lines, and sales channels – and solid financial expertise to build and manage controlling, forecasts, and liquidity soundly. Data-driven, hands-on, with real scope for shaping the company's next steps.

Tasks

• Right-hand person to management: Preparation of decisions, analyses, and strategic foundations
• Drive commercial special projects independently – e.g., Vietnam production (calculation, landed cost, supplier terms), new product lines, and investments
• Create transparency on key figures: Build and further develop reporting, KPIs, and data basis
• Contribute basic controlling understanding (margin, contribution margin, forecast, liquidity) – in close exchange with the team, without needing to be a finance specialist
• Support assortment and growth topics data-based (fast movers/slow movers, bundles, inventory)
• Help shape processes and structures for the next growth phase

Qualification

• Several years of experience in e-commerce (must-have) – you understand shop/marketplace business, assortment, and growth levers
• Entrepreneurial, generalist, and hands-on: you take responsibility and drive topics to completion independently. Strong in numbers and analysis; proficient in Excel/Sheets and a BI tool
• Basic understanding of finance/controlling (margin, contribution margin, forecast, liquidity) – you need to be familiar with the topics, but not build controlling from scratch
• Affinity for modern tools and AI-supported work
• Analytical, structured, and pragmatic – the counterweight to the implementation- and idea-driven founding team
• Fluent in German; English is an advantage
