Founders Associate (m/f/d)

When? Full-time, starting November 2026 · Where? Berlin, hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Muris is building the AI operating system for agricultural logistics and optimizing the process from field to factory. Our food chains are exposed to ever-increasing fluctuations, for example due to weather, prices, or skilled labor shortages. We are working to develop our food supply chains in a sustainable, robust, and future-oriented manner. We are two founders with domain expertise and a strong tech background, bootstrapped, with a paying pilot customer. Twenty topics are running simultaneously with us, from grant applications to workshop preparation. Your task is to bring structure to this so that we founders can concentrate on customers and product.

Your Role

• You are the right hand of the founders. You turn open to-dos into a list with priorities, responsible persons, and deadlines and follow up on them
• You create business plans, financials, and reporting for grant applications
• You research investors and business angels and build pitch materials
• You develop competitive analyses and our market positioning
• You improve processes, solve ad-hoc issues, and quickly take on responsibility

• You approach challenges with ownership and a can-do attitude
• You set the highest quality standards for yourself and ensure your slides, numbers, and texts are accurate
• You are dependable and deliver what you promise
• You work with attention to detail and notice when a number doesn't add up
• You communicate empathetically and clearly. We work closely together, and humanity is as important to us as performance
• You are discreet and have sound judgment; as a right hand, you see everything from finances to HR matters
• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a scientific field
• You have initial practical experience, for example from start-ups, consulting, or banking
• You can do without short-term gains to build something long-term

• You are looking for a narrowly defined role with established processes. You will build these yourself here
• You prefer advising over implementing
• You don't like detailed work
• You prioritize hustle aesthetics over reliable results

What we cannot promise you

• An MBB entry-level salary, but we will discuss your development path and equity
• That work will never go beyond 6 PM
• That every task will have strategic hyper-impact. Sometimes it's just about pitching in and delivering
