Founders Associate (m/w/d)

BarBrain is one of the fastest-growing SaaS startups for the hospitality industry. Our tool digitalizes inventory processes in restaurants, bars, and hotels – efficiently, user-friendly, and data-driven. As Founders Associate, you will work directly with the management team, gain deep insights into all business areas, and shape operational growth. The role is ideal for smart generalists with ambition, entrepreneurial thinking, and a desire to make a difference.

Tasks

Your tasks (depending on integration & focus):

You will take over operative responsibility in strategically important areas and keep the founding team free – in projects, processes, and priorities.

• Direct collaboration with the management team in daily business
• Planning and implementation of strategic projects (e.g. market analyses, expansion plans, new product features)
• Support for investor relations and preparation of reports
• Taking over tasks in the areas of Business Development, Operations, or Sales – depending on need & skillset
• Creation of presentations, decision-making templates, and analyses
• Structuring internal processes – from recruiting to customer feedback
• Communication with partners, customers, and service providers
• Sparring for new ideas, MVPs, and decisions in the fast-paced setup

Qualification

You bring:

• First practical experience in a startup, consulting, or tech environment (e.g. internships, student jobs)
• High self-motivation, entrepreneurial thinking, and hands-on mentality
• Outstanding organizational and implementation skills
• Tech affinity and willingness to learn new tools and topics
• Communication strength – verbally, in writing, and preferably also in English
• Studies with a focus on economics, technology, or interdisciplinary studies (preferably just before or after graduation)
