We are building the EnergyOS for multi-family homes.

In Germany, there are over 3.3 million multi-family homes – and they are the black hole of the energy transition. 1% solar penetration. 2% smart metering. Little flexibility or intelligent energy management.

At the same time, regulation forces owners to make massive investments: Solar becomes mandatory, smart meters must be rolled out across the board in the next five years, heating and mobility electrify themselves. The multi-family home is transformed from concrete gold to an active part of decentralized energy infrastructure.

VREY combines certified measurement station operation with its own software and enables property owners to sell their self-generated solar power directly to their tenants – simply and without becoming an energy supplier (§42b EnWG).

This turns regulatory pressure into a profitable and planned opportunity:

Aufgaben

Mission der Rolle
You support our team in the operational implementation and further development of our customer projects.

Your goal: Projects structured forward, internal processes scalable, and data-based decisions enabled. In doing so, you will develop a deep understanding of energy projects, operations, and business building.

1. Support in implementing energy projects

• You support the operational and technical implementation of ongoing customer projects - from signature to successful realization
• You work closely with internal teams and external partners and help ensure smooth project flows
• You take over independent part-projects and ensure structured documentation and tracking

2. Support in building & further development of our Operating Models

• You analyze existing processes and identify complexity and optimization potential
• You help structure decision-making processes and set up operational procedures
• You support the build-up of scalable structures, standards, and templates for operational projects

3. Process optimization & internal structures

• You develop internal processes and tools (e.g., in Airtable) further to increase operative efficiency and scalability
• You identify improvement potential in existing workflows and set concrete optimizations, e.g., through automations
• You take over cross-sectional special projects in the areas of organization, tooling, and internal structures

Qualifikation

• You have already gained first experiences in Consulting (Tier 1/Tier 2), High-Growth Start-ups (ideally Operations or Process Optimization), or Project Management in the form of internships
• You are currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as economics, energy economics, or business administration or are taking a gap year
• You think entrepreneurially, make independent decisions, and set clear priorities with a view to impact, scalability, and long-term company success
• You bring an outstanding interest in start-ups, energy, or real estate
• You seek a job that is not 9-to-5, but wants to take on responsibility in a fast-paced, founder-like environment, build structures, and actively shape growth
• You strive to become the best version of yourself and look for environments where you can unfold your full potential
• You are willing to relocate to Berlin - our office is our home base
• You speak German and English fluently
