Founder’s Associate Growth & Partnerships (AI-native) (m/f/d)

Founders Bay is an equity-free accelerator for startups in rural areas and for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

We are currently significantly expanding our business with companies and partners. SMEs and corporations should find suitable startups with us and set up pilot projects. Banks, foundations, and associations should support our programs. This is exactly what we are looking for reinforcement for.

We are looking for a Founder Associate (m/f/d) for our further development, starting immediately. Do you want to bring startups and companies together, enjoy conducting conversations yourself, and prefer to solve problems with a self-built AI workflow rather than an Excel list? Then read on.

Tasks

You will work directly with Tom, Hannes, and Lukas. You will conduct conversations with companies, partners, and startups yourself, and you will be the first point of contact to Founders Bay for many. We will be at the table for larger customer projects.

AI is your normal tool. If you do something by hand for the second time, you will build a process for it before the third time.

We don't just do automated cold outreach. We want companies to come to us on their own initiative, through our scouting tool foundersbay.ventures, through trade media, partners, and also through answers from ChatGPT and others. You will help build this.

• Conduct conversations. You will conduct initial meetings with companies, partners, and startups yourself. You will qualify leads, write profiles, follow up, and prepare offers. For larger projects, you will involve us.

• Acquire partners and engage the network. You will find new partners, from companies to banks, foundations, and associations. You will keep our network of founders, mentors, alumni, and partners active with intros, updates, and events so that people contact us.

• Build pipeline. You will research companies and find good reasons for a conversation. You will keep Attio clean, automate recurring steps, and measure what works.

• Be found. You will build tools and content through which companies discover us. You will ensure that Founders Bay appears in trade media, with partners, and in AI responses.

• Support funding. You will build processes that relieve me of the burden of grant applications.

Qualification

Experience in the startup or innovation environment. This is most important to us; the duration is secondary. For example: founded a company yourself or worked early in a startup, accelerator, incubator, or venture builder, venture clienting, corporate innovation or startup collaborations, accompanied pilot projects between startups and companies, or innovation consulting.

• You work with AI daily and have already built your own workflows or small tools.

• You have built partnerships or maintained a network and enjoy bringing people together.

• You know why pilot projects in companies often get stuck, and you can talk to managing directors as equals.

• You speak fluent German and good English.
