We at nanuq develop the platform for electric truck fleets – from intelligent charging infrastructure over electricity sales to process control. Our vision: making logistics CO₂-neutral – practically, digitally, and financially sustainable.

To achieve this, we need someone who understands the numbers behind it – and shapes them. As Founders Associate Finance (Praktikum, 6 months) you will work directly with the founders on project and infrastructure financing, financial management of the company, and strategic business cases.

Aufgaben

Project Financing: You help develop financial structures for our charging infrastructure projects – from modeling to preparation for banks, investors, or funding agencies.

Company Finances: You support with liquidity planning, budgeting, and setting up a solid finance setup for a growing startup.

Business Cases & Analyses: You calculate what makes sense – and what doesn't. ROI models, sensitivity analyses, market comparisons.

Investor & Funding Communication: You prepare documents for investors and funding applications and accompany the process actively.

Structuring: You help set up finance processes and tools that scale with us – practically and implementable.

Qualification

• Studies in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field – ideally with a focus on energy, infrastructure or mobility
• First experience through internships or work student activities in areas like M&A, Consulting, Corporate Finance, Investment or Controlling
• Familiarity with Excel and numerical models
• Structured, independent working style – you bring things to an end
• Interest in understanding a startup from the inside – not just finances, but the whole picture
• Nice to have: Knowledge of project financing, funding landscape (e.g. KfW, EU funds) or experience with financial processes in infrastructure and AI tools
