Your Role

You will work directly with our founders and CEO as a reliable implementation partner in the areas of finance and strategic planning. You will turn data into decisions, bring structure to our finances, and ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and consistently. We are looking for someone who can ideally join us as early as possible.

Tasks

• Setup and maintenance of reporting structures, KPI dashboards, and budget tracking
• Ongoing responsibility for cash flow planning and liquidity management – keeping an eye on current numbers, recognizing gaps early on, informing founders
• Support in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and unit economics within the framework of strategic decisions
• Setup of forecasting processes and support in budget planning cycles
• Preliminary preparation of investor-ready documents and financial summaries
• First point of contact for financial questions internally – finance as an active partner in the company
• Taking over operational tasks where capacity is needed – tackling without losing strategic oversight

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration or a comparable field
• First practical experiences in the finance sector, consulting, at a VC fund or in a VC-financed startup
• Solid understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven analysis
• Comfortable with uncertainty – you structure your work yourself and move forward without close guidance
• Analytical, detail-oriented working style – you recognize errors and inconsistencies before they become a problem
• Strong communicator – you translate numbers into clear messages, even for conversation partners without a financial background
• Fluent in German and English

Nice to Have

• Contact with Cap-Table Management or equity-related activities
• Experience in accompanying or observing fundraising processes, investor reporting, or shareholder communication
• Familiarity with Due-Diligence processes and the documents that VCs typically request
• Basic understanding of VC deal mechanisms, Term Sheets, or startup financing structures
