As Foundations Production Team Leader, you’ll oversee all aspects of our residential and commercial foundation projects. From leading crews and coordinating schedules to liaising with clients and subcontractors, you’ll ensure every project runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. This leadership role is hands-on and dynamic, requiring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of foundation crews across multiple projects
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, materials, and equipment
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, sales reps, and internal teams
- Collate project documentation for back-costing and ensure accurate reporting
- Identify irregularities or potential issues early and implement solutions
- Lead, mentor, and train crew members to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Uphold company policies, code of conduct, and foster a safe, productive work environment
Essential,
- Experience in concrete foundations or a similar construction field
- Proven supervisory or management experience in construction
- Strong knowledge of both residential and commercial foundation systems
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a criminal check and drug test
- Ability to read and interpret geotechnical and architectural plans
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literacy for scheduling, reporting, and communication
- LBP Certification
- Site Safe Certification
