Forward Deployment Engineer - Work-Study Program

The context:

The role:

The FDE is a permanent vector of transformation. Their daily life: finding problems where they are, building solutions as close as possible to users, and ensuring they last over time.

Identify transformation opportunities:

·       Work immersed with the Transaction Services, Restructuring, S&O, and Strategy teams to detect pain points and high-value use cases

·       Observe workflows, question habits, identify repetitive tasks or friction points

·       Prioritize opportunities based on business impact and technical feasibility

Build and deploy solutions:

·       Rapidly prototype solutions on Dust (AI agents, automated workflows, specialized assistants) and on the application creation platform

·       Develop connectors and integrations between internal components (SharePoint, Salesforce, modeling tools, databases)

·       Configure, test, and deploy solutions, ensuring their reliability

Support adoption and decentralize capabilities

·       Train consultants in the use of tools and, more importantly, in building their own solutions

·       Create documentation, guides, and best practices to enable autonomy

·       Identify and support "AI champions" within each team to drive the transformation

Contribute to the firm's AI roadmap:

·       Relay field feedback to the central team to feed the product roadmap

·       Follow the evolution of the AI/LLM ecosystem (new models, frameworks, tools)

·       Test and evaluate new technological components to enrich the platform

The profile sought:

Education:

·       Bachelor's degree +4/5 in progress (engineering school, computer science master's, data science, or equivalent)

The non-negotiable: Passion for AI

This position is for someone who lives and breathes AI daily. Not as an academic subject, but as a tool they use, test, repurpose, and push to its limits. You follow model releases, experiment with APIs, and have already built things with LLMs – even if imperfect. Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI are absolutely essential.

Technical skills:

·       Concrete experience or personal projects with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents

·       Ability to prototype quickly and iterate in real conditions

·       Python (priority); JavaScript/TypeScript appreciated

·       Familiarity with REST APIs, databases (SQL), cloud environments

·       Fluent English

Personal qualities:

·       Resourcefulness and bias for action: you prefer to deliver an imperfect prototype today rather than a perfect plan in three months

·       Interpersonal skills and pedagogy: you know how to talk to consultants who are not developers

·       Rigor and autonomy: you manage multiple projects in parallel and know how to prioritize

·       Languages: fluent French, professional English (European context)
