Rockstar developers, founded 2015, offices in Stuttgart and Munich. We are a software developer with experience from hundreds of individual projects for enterprise and mid-sized customers.

But we don't rest on our laurels: we move away from pure software development to AI Forward Deployment. That means: We go to our customers, identify workflows that can be automated using AI, and build functioning systems. No slide decks, no proof-of-concepts that end up in the drawer. Productive code that is handed over.

Short paths, honest feedback, no political games. No hierarchy levels between you and the people who make decisions.

What you do

You are not a developer who sits in the corner and works on tickets. You go to the customer, understand their problem, and build the solution.

Specifically:

• On-site at the customer, 3-4 days per week. You sit with the people who have the problem. This is not a remote job with occasional customer visits. You are there where the work happens.
• Bootcamps. 5-day intensive formats in which you come from vague wishes to functioning MVPs with the customer team. On day 3, something runs.
• BUILD AI systems. Agent workflows, RAG pipelines, tool integrations. Open-source stack, MIT-licensed. The customer keeps everything.
• Hand over and let go. You don't just build, you enable. Pair programming with customer developers, architecture documentation, training. After the pilot, the internal team can work independently.
• Think governance. Regulated environments are our focus. DSGVO, BAIT/VAIT, EU AI Act. You don't have to know everything by heart, but you shouldn't shy away from it either.

Who we're looking for

Senior level. 8+ years of professional experience, in total, not specifically in AI. AI workflows only exist in breadth since two years, that's what we know.

What we need: solid foundations in Python backend development and demonstrable experience with LLM-based applications. No playing around on your own computer. You have built productive systems or significantly contributed to them.

Ai experience is not a nice additional qualification. If you hold LLM APIs, RAG architectures, or agent systems for a hype and prefer to build everything classically: wrong company.

Just as important as the tech stack: You must be able to talk to customers. You stand in front of the CFO and explain why this workflow is automated first. You sit with department heads together and understand their daily routine. If you find that uncomfortable, the role doesn't fit.

The only exception from the senior level: If you're really strong in AI and can show what you've built, we'll talk to you even with fewer years of experience.

Tech Stack

Must Have, solid basics:

• PostgreSQL or comparable relational database

• Git / CI/CD
• Experience with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, or others)
• RAG architectures or agent systems (basic knowledge)

Nice to Have, our stack (schulbar):

• LangGraph (our agent orchestration)
• MCP, Model Context Protocol
• Claude SDK / Anthropic API
• LiteLLM, Langfuse, DuckDB
• Terraform
• TypeScript / Astro / Next.js

You don't have to bring our entire stack. We train internally: LiteLLM learns in a week, Langfuse in two days. What's important is that the basics sit and you can quickly adapt to new tools.
